Functional specification

Crafting a strong product vision for the future success

At Eastern Peak, product development is a holistic process. Our solutions don’t only look great, they also perform. From the start, we consider your content strategy, information architecture, scalability, production support and many other factors that will make our solutions work for your business now and in the long term.

That’s why, as the first step of our collaboration, we work together on the functional specification of the envisioned end product. During this phase we will take business ideas and initiatives and transform them into information management processes.

Business Analysis

We will gather the business requirements, and analyse their unique characteristics relative to other competitive offerings.

User Journeys

We will identify the main actors, processes, information flows, interactions and exception conditions.

Internal design

We will define the technology stack to be used: both on the backend and frontend. We will also define the main structure of the database, tables and their relationships to make sure the data supports the processes that were defined in the user journeys.

3rd party Integrations

We will also define the required third party integrations, analyze potential performance and security issues as well as suggest supporting infrastructure.
