Like all businesses, we are closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. While we do not expect any significant impact on the Eastern Peak performance due to the known virus epidemiology profile, team demographics as well as the nature of our service, we wanted to provide you with an update on the actions we are taking in response to it and reassure our customers and employees that we are prepared, with a clear action plan in place.
- Starting from March 17th, we actively encourage all employees to work from home and ensure that all team members have the resources and equipment they need to continue being efficient while remaining safe.
For those employees who find it hard to work from home, offices remain open and functioning following the below precautions:
- We have installed two units of ActivTek PureCloud 5000 (ozone free) air purification and ionisation systems in the office. These are professional air purifications systems usually installed in hospitals to ensure air quality and significant harmful pathogen reduction in the air. Please note the chart below for more information on the system’s impact on similar viruses.
- We have installed professional hand sanitizing stations both at the office entrance and kitchen. Employees are strongly advised to wash their hands both on arrival and throughout the day as needed.
- We have drastically increased daytime cleaning scope to sanitise all high-frequency touchpoints more often. While cleaning services were executed twice a day before, presently the cleaning team is available on premises throughout the day to continuously ensure clean and hygienic facilities to your team members.
The health, well-being, and safety of our employees and their families as well as a high quality, continuous and uninterrupted service was, is and will remain our top priority.
